Role of AI in the Development of Law, Business & Islamic Thought
The main theme of ICLBI 2026 focuses on the intersection between Artificial Intelligence and three important domains: Law, Business, and Islamic Thought.
AI is creating new possibilities for legal research, legal practice, business operations, financial innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and knowledge production. At the same time, it raises fundamental questions regarding responsibility, fairness, privacy, intellectual property, human autonomy, ethics, and governance.
The conference therefore seeks to examine whether existing legal, commercial, ethical, and intellectual frameworks are sufficiently equipped to address AI-driven change, and how these frameworks can evolve to respond to emerging realities.
5. Subthemes
- AI, Legal Systems, and Digital Governance
- AI, Entrepreneurship, and the Future of Business
- AI, Islamic Thought, and Contemporary Challenges
- Governance, Leadership, and Ethical Decision-Making in the AI Era
- AI, Media, Education, and Human Development
- Environmental Sustainability, Public Policy, and Global Development in the Age of AI
The above subthemes are illustrative rather than exhaustive. Papers addressing other relevant dimensions of the main conference theme are also welcome.

ICLBI 2026 is designed as a collaborative and interdisciplinary academic forum. The conference brings together three institutions with complementary areas of academic and professional expertise:
